Welcome to the Grosse Pointe Friends & Neighbors Club!
Our club was founded in the 1970s as the Welcome Wagon but has evolved over the years to include programs and events that encourage members to return year after year. We are committed to providing a sense of community and a network of social contacts through our activities. The club is open to all residents of the Grosse Pointe School District. We especially welcome residents new to the area!
GPFNC is social club with the sole purpose of providing women in the Grosse Pointe area with opportunities to get to know each other and have fun! It doesn’t matter how long you’ve lived in Grosse Pointe or what stage of life you’re in – if you want to meet new people and discover things you never knew about your hometown then this club is for you!
General membership meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month from September to May at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Club business is shared and guest speakers from local venues provide fascinating lectures while we dine. The club also offers opportunities to join book discussions, gourmet groups, craft get-togethers, and luncheons at area restaurants.

A Message From Our Club President...
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
May the new year bring you health, happiness, and hope. Since no year is ever perfect, we should look past any downfalls that we have encountered through the years and look forward to whatever the new year may bring. Best wishes for a happy new year.
Best Regards,
Marcia Backer
